I didn’t know this - but the Indianapolis Pride Committee does an annual gay skate at a local roller rink to sort of kick off Pride week.

Friday I overdid it at the gym and my legs and especially ankles were killing me, but I decided to go anyways.

Don decided we should be drunk for such an event as this and there was no liquor at the rink. I was more or less out of alcohol at home and it being Sunday we couldn’t buy any. We ended up running to the local pub before hand and throwing back a few shots (I had 2 of Bacardi 151 - it was like college all over again!) and made our way to the rink.

After getting a bit lots we had tons of fun! Saw some people we knew and worked up a sweat skating to some really gay songs. I heard Abba at least twice. They said that 150 people came which was far more than in the past. I’m really glad I went and totally plan on doing it again next year!
